Vintage Round Crystal Bowl

What a find!  We think the sparkle of crystal & soft patina of silver go so well together, don't you agree?  The lower body of this Victorian tapered crystal vase has been cut with a highly reflective hobnail design whist the plain upper body perfectly enhances the applied silver mount which is engraved with a bright silver frieze.  With or without flowers; think the soft glow of candlelight or the bright glint of sunshine! Fully hallmarked:  Birmingham. 1881 by H.W & Co - NB The rim is also part-marked. Condition:  Good.  There are a few tiny chips to the high spots on the crystal but you need a magnifying glass to see them.  The mount is cemented and glued to the rim (original).  There is slight wear to the engraving commensurate with age.
